Appearance

Tzylaen possesses the classic regality of the Shae'Quarn bloodline — dark obsidian skin, crimson eyes that gleam with ruthless focus, and long silver-white hair flowing freely beneath her armor. Her battle plate, trimmed in crimson web motifs, reflects her devotion to Lolth's creed and her mastery of dual-blade combat. The sigils on her swords blaze with infernal red runes when she channels her hatred into them.

Personality

Prideful, cold, and consumed by resentment. Tzylaen's drive is defined by her need to prove her superiority over Lyzzoreth, whose rise and defection she views as the ultimate betrayal. She worships strength and despises weakness in any form, even within herself. Though she once fought with honor, her soul has been darkened by vengeance and the lingering whispers of the Grand Order of Necron.

History

Once the prestigious Blade Matron of House Shae'Quarn, Tzylaen was a feared duelist and commander among the Drow. Her reputation for efficiency in battle made her one of Lolth's chosen blades. When Lyzzoreth abandoned their goddess to join the Void, Tzylaen's devotion twisted into rage. Seeking greater power to exact revenge, she allied herself with Persephone, the Plague Queen, who promised her the strength to destroy her traitorous sister.

Synopsis

As a commander within the Grand Order of Necron, Tzylaen hunted Voidborn agents and devoted herself entirely to Persephone's cause. Her pursuit of Lyzzoreth ended in tragedy — the sisters met in battle beneath the shattered caverns of Xal'Vareth. Consumed by fury and stripped of reason, Tzylaen refused any offer of mercy. Lyzzoreth was forced to strike her down, ending her life but not the shadow she left behind.

Trivia

Her twin swords were named Venomfang and Requiem's Bite.

She once trained both Ilivrae and Lyzzoreth in swordplay.

Her final words to Lyzzoreth were said to be, 'You chose the silence. Now live with it.'

Wore ceremonial war paint made from spider venom mixed with her own blood — a ritual of devotion before every battle.

Refused to use shields, claiming they were 'tools for those who fear the first strike.'

Her armor was reforged five times throughout her life; each reforging marked a betrayal she swore to avenge.

The crimson runes on her blades would burn brighter the longer she remained in combat, feeding on her fury.

Persephone gifted her a crimson pendant said to amplify her hatred; it shattered the day she died.

She despised diplomacy, calling it 'the art of cowards who fear decisive steel.'

Her tomb in Xal'Vareth remains sealed; those who attempt to open it hear whispering blades in the dark.

Even after death, House Shae'Quarn warriors invoke her name before battle, both in reverence and fear.

Her discipline was so strict that she would meditate in silence for hours after killing, believing penance was owed for all blood spilled.

Legends claim that when she fell to Lyzzoreth's blade, the crimson glow of her runes flickered one final time — spelling her sister's name.
