Background
Eirhassel glides through the airless folds of Vael'therix Silence with the grace of something that has never touched the ground. Its body is long, finned, and semi-translucent - shaped like a deep-sea creature carved from memory and boneglass. Dozens of luminous eyes blink across its sides, though none appear to focus.
It does not hunt. It does not flee. It moves in patterns that only prophecy understands, swimming through currents no one can feel. Some say it circles forgotten names. Others believe it is following the final breath of something that hasn't died yet.
Description
Traits / Abilities
- Wake of the Unborn - Where Eirhassel passes, the air thickens with potential. Creatures near its path experience flashes of futures they never chose, some of which begin to overwrite their present.
- Levitide Fins - Its fins cut not air, but expectation - spells cast nearby unravel mid-gesture, and even thoughts may stall in motion.
- Dirge Current - Emits a low, song-like pulse that lingers behind it, causing hallucinations of worlds that never were. Those caught in the current may forget what they were trying to do.
- Stillheart Gaze - When it looks upon a creature, that being is overcome with an immense calm - often mistaking stasis for safety, and standing still until something else decides for them.
